A meeting with the delegation of the Republic of Azerbaijan took place in the State Emergency Situations
Since the beginning of the big war, Azerbaijan has constantly supported Ukraine, including the State Emergency Service in the process of demining the liberated territories and overcoming large-scale emergency situations. In particular, during the liquidation of the consequences of the explosion of the Kakhovska Hydroelectric power station, partners from the Republic of Azerbaijan provided all the necessary assistance and support to the Ukrainian people.
Today, the acting Head of the State Emergency Service Volodymyr Demchuk met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine Seymour Mardaliev, during which the participants discussed directions of further cooperation.
In particular, Volodymyr Demchuk, the acting Head of the State Emergency Service, informed foreign partners about the tasks that rescuers are currently performing in war conditions and once again thanked the Republic of Azerbaijan for the humanitarian aid that has been coming to our country since the first days of the full-scale invasion of the enemy.

"During the war, the unity and cohesion that we feel, including from our friends and partners from Azerbaijan, is very important. We thank you for your help in demining liberated Ukrainian territories. In particular, for the provision of a mechanized demining machine. And also the exchange of experience in overcoming emergency situations. This is very important and extremely necessary support for us. In turn, I would like to note that you can also count on our support and help in any emergency situations," Volodymyr Demchuk said during the meeting.
At the same time, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine noted that it is extremely important to strengthen cooperation between the two countries, including with Ukrainian rescuers. Therefore, in the near future, there is a Memorandum of Understanding for further effective cooperation.

"Ukraine is a reliable partner and friend for our country. We understand what difficult times your country is currently living in. And our support remains unwavering, including support for rescuers in the field of demining territories and assistance in overcoming the catastrophic consequences of war," said Seymour Mardaliev.
