Representatives of the German Society for International Cooperation GIZ visited the Mobile Rescue Center of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine
The international delegation got acquainted with the specialized equipment and vehicles provided in the framework of the GIZ project "Support of State and Municipal Management of Emergencies in the East of Ukraine". The partners also talked with rescuers constantly involved in liquidating the consequences of various kinds of emergencies, including those related to enemy shelling.
The German partners discussed with Andrii Danyk, the Deputy Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine directions for further cooperation and expressed their admiration for the courage of Ukrainian rescuers.
It is worth noting that the specialists of the Mobile Rescue Center have tremendous experience in conducting search and emergency rescue operations and eliminating the consequences of enemy attacks. In addition, they are deployed to eliminate the consequences of emergencies abroad as members of the Heavy Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) MRC Ukraine team that was classified by the International Search and Rescue Advisory Group (INSARAG).
