The Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine held a meeting with representatives of the embassies of donor countries of the OSCE Support Program
A meeting between the leadership of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, headed by the Head Andriy Danyk, and representatives of the embassies of donor countries to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Support Program was held in Kyiv.
The Head of the Service briefed the international delegation on the achievements in cooperation with the OSCE. Representatives of donor countries also had the opportunity to learn about the work of the State Emergency Service in the conditions of armed aggression by the russian federation, in particular in the field of humanitarian demining and radiation, chemical, and biological protection.
Andriy Danyk emphasized that international support, especially material and technical assistance, has a significant impact on the ability of emergency responders to counter today's challenges. In turn, the unique experience of the State Emergency Service in dealing with the consequences of russian attacks can be useful for European countries.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed the priority needs of rescuers and ways for further cooperation between the OSCE and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
