Rescuers of the State Emergency Service went to Turkey to help with the elimination of the consequences of a powerful earthquake
At the request of the Euro-Atlantic Coordination Center for Disaster Response, the Consolidated Detachment of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, which included rescuers from the Mobile Rescue Center of Rapid Response, firefighters, rescuers, medics, canine units of the Interregional Rapid Response Center, went to provide assistance to Turkish colleagues.
In total, 87 personnel, 18 vehicles and 10 search-and-rescue dogs were sent from Ukraine to eliminate the consequences of a powerful earthquake.
The group is equipped with Starlink satellite terminals, drones, machinery and all the necessary equipment for performing tasks at the site of a search and rescue operation.
For the rescue community, there is no other person's grief. That is why we support our colleagues in this difficult time for Turkey, because we know from our own experience how important it is.
