"Emergency personnel managed to rescue three persons, one of them a child", - Serhiy Kruk about the rocket attack on civil infrastructure in Kryvyi Rih
On the morning of July 31, the russians once again launched a rocket attack on the residential quarters of Kryvyi Rih. A multi-story residential building and an educational building of one of the city's universities came under attack.
"Another terror. Kryvyi Rih. Civilian objects are again under attack by terrorists, again they direct their rockets at the civilian population and terrorize our people. After all, it is much easier to fight with residential buildings than on the battlefield," said Serhiy Kruk, Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
"Emergency personnel managed to rescue three persons, among them a child born in 2013. During the work, our rescuer was injured. Currently, nothing threatens his life," Serhiy Kruk said.
Currently, search and rescue operations are ongoing. A mobile control center of the State Emergency Service has been deployed at the site of the shelling, and psychologists are working to provide assistance to citizens.
In total, 113 personnel and 44 vehicles of fire-rescue and special equipment were involved in the liquidation of the consequences of the emergency situation. The mobile operative group of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and the Mobile Rescue Center of the Rapid Response of the State Emergency Service are working on site.
