Assistance to Türkiye: rescuers deployed a tent camp in the Doankoy district of Hatay province
Rescuers do not give up hope of finding survivors. They check each damaged or destroyed house in the sectors of their responsibility. Sensory devices "Geophone" and telescopic cameras are used to hear and see where a human cannot.
In addition to modern devices, the specially trained service dogs help specialists.
Since the beginning of the works in Turkey, the search and rescue teams of the joint unit of the State Emergency Service have examined 340 destroyed buildings and structures, dismantled 107 sites of rubbles, and recovered the bodies of 26 people.
In the morning of February 13, two SAR groups of the combined unit of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine have been dispatched to the their corresponding sectors for survey and search and rescue works, just as it was decided during the evening briefing.
In the recent 24hrs, during February 12, the combined search and rescue unit of SES of Ukraine:
surveyed 105 destroyed buildings (302 since beginning of works);
cleared 3 debris sites (96 since beginning of works);
provided medical care to 3 persons (6 since beginning of works);
recovered 11 bodies (20 since beginning of works).
